So in case you haven’t picked up on it, I’m not an easy breezy, fly by the seat of your pants, throw caution to the wind type mom. I’m scheduled. A little psycho. Not as flexible as some of my other friend moms. That being said, let me explain my stance on this “play yard/play pen/pack n play/cage, whatever you want to call it. Now many think of pack n plays as a way to travel with your baby and have a convenient ready to go crib setup. And yes, for most that is true. I, on the other hand, used it more for contained play and convenient changing downstairs in my house. Future post includes that I used this to have my twins sleep in later on, but I digress. This pack-n-play has all the features of the other big brand pack n plays, but is light weight, and is easy to put together, even with one hand. I literally can open it myself, press my palm down in the middle and voila. Literally the fastest up and down that I’ve seen. The changing top and sunken bassinet piece are also super helpful when baby is little and you’re not ready to put them upstairs all the time or in another room. Anyway, I like this one. It worked for us, more square feel than most competitors, which made more room for us and felt less cabbage patch playpen from back in the day. If you’re too young to know what that is, I’m sticking my tongue out at you.
